Energy Wall’sTM Insulation Series – made of NEOPOR®
The IS Series is made from BASF’s NEOPOR®. NEOPOR® is graphite impregnated into expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin. These tiny graphite particles act as infrared absorbers and heat reflectors lowering the thermal conductivity and greatly increases the thermal resistance (R-Value) of the insulation.
The IS Series is an Exo-Skeleton insulation system – Bringing Innovation to construction – developed and tested in the Northern Canada. This innovative product is a continuous exterior insulation panel system designed for use in new and retrofit construction providing a continuous thermal break to the building envelope.
Energy Wall™ building system has been evaluated by CCMC (Canadian Construction Material Centre) in 1999 and it was based on extreme conditions in the circumpolar Canada. To our best knowledge it was the first one ever done in Canadian Arctic as a building system!
IS3000
The IS3000 series provides a 4″ thick continuous exterior insulation panel system designed for use in retrofit and also new construction. It provides a cost effective continuous thermal break to the building envelope to effectively save energy – IS3000 has an effective R-Value of 19.1.
IS4000
The IS4000 provides a 7″ thick continuous exterior insulation panel system and is designed for use in new and extreme retrofit construction. It provides a cost-effective continuous thermal break to the building envelope to effectively save energy – IS4000 has an effective R-Value of 32.37.
